I had the pleasure of recently attending Urban Paint and Sip. This is a 2-3 hour instructor-led painting session hosted by George and Eshoe Galbreath of Urban Art Expression. Urban Paint and Sip is for all levels of painters, from beginners to those that have been painting for years; the paint, canvas, aprons, brushes and easels will be provided. You can also bring your own beverage (BYOB). Now, I must admit, this was my first time painting since middle school, so I was a little apprehensive. As I reached my destination at this quaint studio off Peters Street in downtown Atlanta, I was immediately greeted by George and Eshoe who made me feel less apprehensive throughout the session. They walk you through the steps of creating a masterpiece and given the intimate setting, it gives them the opportunity to provide more individualized instruction.
At $20 per person I would highly recommend participating in one of the upcoming Urban Paint and Sip sessions, as it will give you the opportunity to socialize with your family and friends while connecting with new contacts.
