The ultimate goal for retail brands is to secure a spot on the shelf of a Big Box retailer. Target has invested in an accelerator that grooms small brands and prepares them to pitch their products to leadership. The name of the program is Target Takeoff.
According to their website: "Think of it as an abbreviated accelerator with a product-centric focus. Takeoff is an opportunity to deepen your retail know-how without having to make the 3–4-month commitment of a traditional accelerator. With both virtual and face-to-face workshops and mentoring, we’ll work with you on launching and scaling to help your brand accelerate its market readiness."
