In an effort to crowdsource our application, we actively develop features that allow our directory to be self sufficient as well as allow users to help with the integrity of OUR application. I Am Black Business may own the code behind the directory; however, each one of us in the black community has a vested interest in the success of the directory and recycling black dollars. The report business feature is one such feature that allows our entire community to voluntarily protect our directory.
It is very simple to report a business. Simply click the Report Business link next to a business on the search results or business listing pages. Reporting a business does not require an user account so anyone can complete the process.
Once on the report Business page, select a reason for reporting the business and provide any comments to assist our team in researching the issue with the business. You can select from the following options:
- Not Majority Black Owned
- Incorrect Information
- Business is Closed
- Other
With your help, we can all ensure the directory stays clean and always has the most up-to-date information for each business.
