Today marks a very important day for our company. After 4 years, we’re launching our second major release, filled with new features that will continue to build upon our vision - to be more than just a directory.
Directory Updates
We've introduced Premium Listings. In order to boost your listing and stand out amongst thousands of businesses, you will have the option pay for a premium listing.
In addition to being ranked above other businesses, premium listings will provide more access to business data. While our free listings will still exist, access will be limited to basic fields.
Free Listing
Premium Listing
Businesses can pay for a premium listing each month for $25, or opt for yearly payment for $149. The yearly fee is designed to offer a significant value in exchange for a longer commitment.
Access
In the past, users were not required to create accounts to submit businesses. In order to lay the foundation for future features like favorites and rewards points, all users will be required to create an account in order to submit a business. This new account requirement will also help combat issues with non-black owned businesses being submitted to the directory.
Mobile App
In addition to the boosting logic for premium businesses, we've introduced a filter in the app to refine search results.
Partnerships
We have also formed a strategic partnership with Renata Brown of Em-Spire and A-spire magazines. Because of our partnership, we’re able to offer advertising in her magazine at a discounted rate to our business owners. While we realize the value of the directory listing, we equally understand the value of optimal exposure for our business owners. Owners that purchase yearly subscriptions will receive advertising magazine worth over $150.
New Team Member
We developed a relationship with Mr. Tamahn Jamison through the Atlanta Black Chambers. We quickly realized we had the same goals and identified a mutual desire to support black owned businesses. Mr. Jamison has existing relationships with over 200 black business owners in Atlanta through his own efforts. Furthermore, Mr. Jamison is the President of opportUNITY Development, LLC - a sales training company. Mr. Jamison recently joined our team as the Director of Sales and Partnerships, leading our efforts to connect with businesses and establish more meaning partnerships.
Thanks so much for your support. Please #buyblack and #supportblackbusiness.
