We truly feel that our team at I Am Black Business is one of the few organizations dedicated to collaborating and supporting other movements involved in black business and economic empowerment. The latest movement we supported was the CashMobATL movement. Their mission is similar to our Black Business Crawl initiative - simply get a group of people together and support a business or two.
CashMobATL's first event was at daVido's 3.75 Pizza in Lithonia. Damon Thomas, CashMobATL's founder, chose daVido's because of their dedictation to the community through sponsorships, employment of African Americans, and of course, the great food. I had a great time networking with like-minded individuals as well as supporting a great black owned business.
