Systahood Beauty Supplies...was established in 1998 in East Orange, NJ at the corner of Central Avenue and Hollywood Avenue. In such a prime location, it quickly became a neighborhood landmark and a place the community enjoyed visiting. Our customers ranged from school age kids who came in after school or who were going to the store for parents to elderly people who were looking for ways to spruce themselves up. Men and women alike made Systahood their go-to for their beauty and maintenance needs. A quick visit for a few items could have easily turned into a 30+ minute hang out with the Systahood employees. Our East Orange location, now at 61 Central Ave, still stands as a neighborhood staple and a source of pride.The addition of Systahood II occurred in 2011 as a way to expand our brand and reach a larger demographic. Located in Easton, PA, Systahood II has become the sure place for an underserved community in the area. In a town where the local drug stores were the only place to get very basic, general beauty products for ethnic hair, Systahood II provided the community with products specially created for specific types of hair. We also housed a large range of hair extensions and wigs that people of the area would have had to travel to Allentown or even New Jersey to get.
